Peeter Normak is an Estonian mathematician born on October 15, 1952. He graduated from Tallinn 1st Secondary School in 1970 and from the University of Tartu in 1975 with high honors. Normak pursued further studies at Moscow State University from 1975 to 1978 and defended his candidate's dissertation in 1982. His research primarily focuses on the representation of semigroups through transformations of sets. Since 1993, Normak has been a professor of computer science at Tallinn University.
