Peeter Särgava was an Estonian clergyman born on April 8, 1915, in Uue-Vändra, Pärnumaa. He graduated from Jakob Westholm Gymnasium in 1932 and studied theology at Tartu University from 1934 to 1938. After ordination in 1940, he served as a pastor until escaping to Sweden in 1944. He worked in refugee camps before serving the Swedish church in Jokkmokk until 1982, when he became emeritus. Särgava passed away on August 19, 2005, and is buried in Jokkmokk.
