Peggy Dell, born Margaret Tisdall on January 8, 1906, was an Irish singer and pianist who rose to fame as a music hall entertainer. She began her career as a pianist at the age of nine and later formed her own band. Dell toured England in the 1930s and performed in the United States. After World War II, she returned to Ireland and became a popular musician, appearing in various performances. Her career faced decline in the 1960s, but she regained success in the 1970s with her TV series called Peg O' My Heart and won a Jacob's Award.
