Pekka Eerik Salonen (April 12, 1938 – January 25, 2024) was a Finnish athlete known for his achievements in hammer throw. He won four national championship medals, including silver in 1963 and 1966 and bronze in 1964 and 1967. Salonen represented Finland in over ten international competitions and improved the Finnish record in hammer throw twice in 1964. He competed for several clubs, including Aitolahden Riento and Tampereen Pyrintö.
