Pelle Edin is a Swedish journalist and television presenter born on May 11, 1952, in Knivsta. With a degree in economics from Stockholm University, he started his career as a newspaper journalist and a reporter at local radio in Gävle. In 1982, he joined Sveriges Television (SVT), working as a reporter in various capacities including political and foreign correspondent. He announced his retirement from SVT on December 9, 2016, but still occasionally appears in short news segments. Edin has received recognition for his work, including an award from Expressen.
