Per Arne Skomsø is a Norwegian teacher and author born on September 20, 1947. He was born in Smøla and moved to Holvik in Vågsøy municipality as a child. Skomsø completed his upper secondary education in Sauda in 1966, worked as a substitute teacher, and attended Volda Teachers' College from 1967 to 1969. He taught at Rødven school in Rauma municipality and served as a municipal council member and deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament for Møre and Romsdal from 1989 to 1993 for the Socialist Left Party. He has written children's books and textbooks.
