Per Blankens, born as Per Olof Ragnar Andreas Blomquist on February 9, 1972, in Sigtuna, is a Swedish TV producer. He started his career as a trailer producer and program presenter at Sveriges Television, producing various shows since 1996. Notable works include c/o Segemyhr, Melodifestivalen, and several seasons of Idol. After a brief stint at Friday TV in 2012, he moved to Los Angeles to produce American Idol. He has also produced shows for Chinese TV and worked on the adaptation of Skam. He has been producing Idol in Sweden since 2019 and will produce Eurovision 2024.
