Per Johan Farstad (24 April 1951 – 26 August 2019) was a Norwegian industrial designer and author. He studied at the National School of Art and Design and worked at Oppland bedriftsselskap AS until 1988. Farstad became a professor of industrial design in 1992 and later founded Formel Industridesign AS in 1997. He contributed to design education and initiated the Design Institute in Oslo. Farstad received multiple awards for his designs and authored textbooks on industrial design.
