Per Haave (1958-2024) was a Norwegian historian recognized for his extensive research on the history of Norway's healthcare system, sterilization policies, race hygiene, and the treatment of the Romani people. He authored the significant report "Sterilisering av tatere 1934-1977" and contributed to the historical narrative of Norwegian psychiatry, particularly through his work on Sanderud hospital. From 2011, he served as a research fellow at the University of Oslo's Section for Medical Anthropology and Medical History.
