Per Håvarstein, known by his stage name Dirge Rep, is a Norwegian black metal drummer born on June 18, 1976, in Stavanger. He began drumming at 15 and joined the band Gehenna at 17. He later joined Enslaved, has contributed to various bands including Gorgoroth and Aura Noir, and is involved in anti-commercialization efforts within the black metal scene. Håvarstein has written music and lyrics for many significant bands and continues to perform with Nettlecarrier and Orcustus, blending music and art.
