He served as Secretary of State at the Finance Department and has held various positions, including Deputy Head of the Monetary Policy Department at the Riksbank. He has been the Deputy Governor of the Riksbank since January 1, 2012, and has been an associate professor in economics at Uppsala University since 2000.
