Per Karang is a Norwegian pianist, cimbalom player, and ethnomusicologist born in 1955. His specialization is Hungarian Romani music. He co-founded the Oslo Tangoforening in 1982 and played a significant role in establishing the Romani music scene at Krølle Kro. Karang is associated with the orchestra Sturm und Drang and several other ensembles, while also serving as an organist at Iladalen Church from 1989 to 2011.
