Per Gustaf Lodin is a Swedish officer born on March 18, 1956, in Oscars församling. He began his military career at Dalregementet in 1978 and has held several leadership positions, including commander of I 19 in Boden and the Multinational Task Force Center, KFOR in Kosovo. In June 2016, he was appointed head of the UN peacekeeping operation in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP). He is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of War Sciences. Per is the son of deceased Colonel Gustaf Lodin and is married with two children.
