Per Michael Jespersen is a Danish journalist born on January 26, 1963, in Copenhagen. He earned a master's degree in political science with a minor in rhetoric from Copenhagen University in 1992. He began his career at the Ministry of Business as an information officer and worked at Politiken from 1997 to 2005, serving as the senior debate editor. From 2005 to 2009, he was the editor-in-chief of Ugebrevet A4. He returned to Politiken in February 2009 as the opinion editor and served as director of the think tank Cevea from May 2019 to December 2020.
