Per Olav Næss is a Norwegian psychiatrist born in 1943 with a specialist practice in Oslo. He served as a witness in the trial of Anders Behring Breivik following the 2011 terror attacks in Norway. Næss treated Breivik when he was four years old in 1983 and concluded that Breivik exhibited traits of Asperger's syndrome during his testimony, although he was bound by confidentiality regarding his patient.
