Per-Olav Sørensen, born in 1963 in Oslo, is a Norwegian director, series creator, playwright, screenwriter, and producer. He grew up in Moss and graduated from Kirkeparken High School in 1982. From 1985 to 1991, he worked as a journalist, primarily for Dagbladet. He has worked continuously in theater, TV, and film since serving as assistant director for Stein Winge in 1989 and 1990. He owns Parkteatret AS and has his own theater company, POS Theatre Company. He is also the artistic director of the NonStop International Theatre Festival.
