Percy Edwin Alan Johnson-Marshall was a British urban designer and regional planner, who significantly contributed to urban planning and redevelopment from the 1960s. Educated at Liverpool University, he began his career working with local authorities before becoming a senior lecturer at the University of Edinburgh in 1959 and later a Professor of Urban Design and Regional Planning in 1964. He founded Percy Johnson-Marshall & Associates, masterminding projects like the Comprehensive Development Area at the University of Edinburgh and is recognized as the main architect of Celtic Park.
