Bishop P. Solomon (1910–2002) was the third Bishop-in-Dornakal Diocese of the Church of South India, succeeding A. B. Elliott. He maintained a life of celibacy and dedicated himself to the priesthood after studying at the United Theological College in Bangalore, earning his Bachelor of Divinity. Ordained in 1947, he served as a missionary and was consecrated as bishop in 1956, leading until 1979. Solomon participated in various global ecclesiastical meetings and was pivotal in the church community, witnessing the Diocese's split in 1978.
