Peta Louise Edebone is an Australian softball player born on 9 February 1969 in Melbourne, Victoria. She achieved notable success in her sport, winning a bronze medal in both the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics and a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics, where she also served as captain. Edebone hit 4 home runs in the Sydney Olympics, tying the existing record at the time before it was broken in 2004. After knee surgery post-Athens, she retired from competitive play. She participated in a football match event in May 2007.
