Peta Luise Seaton is an archaeologist and former politician from New South Wales, Australia. She served in the Legislative Assembly from 1996 until her retirement in 2007 as a member of the Liberal Party, representing the Southern Highlands. Born in Port Moresby and educated in the Solomon Islands and Sydney, she earned a BA in Archaeology from the University of Sydney and a PhD in 2007. Seaton briefly worked in television and has since held consulting roles, currently chairing the board at Hearing Australia.
