Petar Porobić was a Montenegrin water polo coach known for his significant coaching achievements. He served as the head coach for various national teams, including Montenegro, Serbia and Montenegro, and the China women's national team at the 2020 Olympics. Porobić was pivotal in coaching the Montenegrin team to success at the 2008 European Championship and winning world gold in 2005. He was also the president of the World Water Polo Coaches Association and had a strong commitment to the sport throughout his life. He passed away on October 9, 2023.
