He drove for renowned teams, including Ford/Roush and Mazda, winning multiple championships in Trans Am and GTO. Halsmer also achieved four GT2 victories while racing for BMW, and he contributed to Honda America Race Team from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, he is a three-time class winner at the prestigious 24 Hours of Daytona.
