Pete Souza is an American photographer and photojournalist born in 1954. He is currently serving as the Chief Official White House Photographer for President Barack Obama and the Director of the White House Photography Office. Previously, he held the role of White House Photographer during President Ronald Reagan's second term from 1983 to 1989. Souza also worked as a photographer for the Chicago Tribune in Washington, D.C., from 1998 to 2007.
