Pete Taylor was an American radio and television sportscaster born on April 1, 1945, in Des Moines, Iowa. He worked for KRNT radio and KCCI television in Des Moines. Taylor was known for his play-by-play commentary of Iowa State University football and men's basketball. His career contributed significantly to sports broadcasting in Iowa until his passing on March 5, 2003, in Iowa City.
