Arthur Robert Peter Baden-Powell, 2nd Baron Baden-Powell, known as Peter, was born on 30 October 1913 and died on 9 December 1962. He was the son of Robert Baden-Powell, founder of Scouting. Peter served in the British South Africa Police in Southern Rhodesia and later worked in the Southern Rhodesian Civil Service. After World War II, he returned to Britain, assumed his title, became a director of companies, and served as a Special Constable with the City of London Police.
