Peter Grey Bennet, 10th Earl of Tankerville, born on 18 October 1956, is a British peer and musician. Educated at Grace Cathedral School and Oberlin Conservatory, he succeeded as Earl of Tankerville in April 1980. A member of the House of Lords from 1980 to 1999 without party affiliation, he is the only son of the 9th Earl of Tankerville. After his succession, the family estate at Chillingham Castle was sold. He currently resides in San Francisco, where he is active in music.
