Péter Bercsek (August 8, 1932 – August 5, 2024) was a Hungarian horticultural engineer. He served as the chief gardener of Margit Island for 16 years and then became the head of the Fővárosi Kertészeti Vállalat starting in 1974. In 1979, he took on the role of head at the National Agricultural Quality Institute. He was an expert in training lilacs and transplanting old trees, and authored numerous books and specialized articles.
