Peter Chen Jianzhang was a Chinese underground Catholic bishop. Born on March 6, 1920, in Xushui, Hebei, he served as the underground bishop of Yixian from 1983 to 1988 and then as bishop of Baoding from 1988 until his death on December 21, 1994. His leadership was significant in the Chinese Catholic community during a time of political and religious challenges.
