Peter de Greef is a Dutch journalist born in The Hague on July 20, 1969. He studied social history in Rotterdam and switched to journalism after meeting Jan Blokker. He worked for NRC Handelsblad and Trouw before becoming a reporter for de Volkskrant in 1998. From 2003 to 2007, he wrote a weekly court column and received honors for his exemplary youth justice coverage. He became the editor of the newspaper's Hart en ziel section in 2007 and has been part of the editorial team since 2010.
