Peter de Rosa is a British author and former Roman Catholic priest and Jesuit, born on November 12, 1932. He studied at the Gregorian University in Rome and taught Metaphysics and Ethics at Westminster Seminary in London, serving as the Dean of Roman Catholic Theology at Corpus Christi College. In 1970, he signed an open letter opposing the papal encyclical Humanae Vitae and subsequently left the priesthood. A prolific author, de Rosa is married and has two sons, currently residing in Ireland.
