Peter de Wit, born on September 29, 1952, is a Dutch goldsmith residing in Sweden. He is married to goldsmith Margareth Sandström. De Wit studied at the Fachhochschule für Gestaltung in Pforzheim from 1971 to 1974 and has operated as an independent silversmith and designer with his own studio in Linköping since 1973. His work is represented in several institutions, including the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and the Röhsska Kunstslöjdmuseet in Gothenburg.
