Peter Diepenhorst (1942-2022) was a Dutch politician associated with the CHU and later the CDA. Born in The Hague and son of a mayor, he worked for the Provincial Water Authority and Planning Service in Overijssel. He became the mayor of Domburg in 1975 and later served as the mayor of Maartensdijk from 1987 until 2001 when the municipality merged into De Bilt.
