Peter Eichenberger (30 March 1939 – 5 June 2023) was a Swiss FDP politician and retired military doctor. He specialized in internal medicine and worked in hospitals and his own practice before serving in the Swiss Army as the Chief Medical Officer from 1989 to 2001. Politically, he was a member of the Zollikofen Municipal Council from 1972 to 1981 and served in the Bern cantonal parliament from April 2005 to May 2006. He was also Vice President of the Bern Medical Association and President of the Red Cross Foundation Lindenhof.
