Peter F. Martin, born in 1941, is an American politician affiliated with the Democratic Party. He served as a representative in the Rhode Island House of Representatives for the 75th District of Newport from January 2009 to January 2015. During his tenure, he was a member of the Judiciary and Veteran’s Affairs committees and had previously participated in committees focused on small business, municipal government, and government oversight. In 2010, he was appointed to serve a three-year term as the Rhode Island Legislative Commissioner on the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission.
