Peter Foster is a former Australian rules footballer born on June 2, 1960, who played in the Australian Football League (AFL) for Fitzroy and Footscray. Foster played only four games for Footscray before transitioning to centre half-back, a position where he became a key player. He achieved notable accolades, finishing equal 5th in the 1988 Brownlow Medal and winning Footscray's best and fairest award in 1990. His son, Jayden Foster, was drafted by Carlton in 2014.
