Peter Goalby is an English singer and guitarist born on July 13, 1956, in Wolverhampton, England. He was the lead vocalist of the rock band Uriah Heep from 1982 to 1986, during which time he recorded three albums with the band. Goalby also wrote the song 'Blood Red Roses,' which Uriah Heep included on their 1989 album 'Raging Silence' as the second single. Before joining Uriah Heep, he was a lead singer and second guitarist for the band Trapeze, contributing to their studio album 'Hold On' (1978) and the live album 'Live in Texas: Dead Armadillos' (1981).
