Sir Peter John Gregson, FREng, was a prominent British research engineer and academic administrator. He served as the Chair of the Henry Royce Institute and was Vice-Chancellor of Cranfield University from 2013 to 2021. Before that, he held the position of President and Vice-Chancellor of Queen's University Belfast starting in 2004, and he was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Southampton from 2000 to 2004. His contributions to engineering and education have been significant throughout his career.
