Peter Hansted is a Danish politician from the Socialdemokratiet party, born on January 12, 1956, in Hørsholm. He has served as the mayor of Ærø Municipality since January 1, 2022, succeeding Ole Wej Petersen. Hansted is the son of former social democratic Prime Minister Jens Otto Krag. After training as a farmer, he has worked in various educational and leadership roles, as well as in hospitality and administration before moving to Ærø in 2007.
