Peter J. McDonald was a Canadian politician who served as a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba from 1962 to 1966. He was educated in Holmfield, Manitoba, and worked as a farmer and International Harvester dealer. McDonald held various local government roles, including mayor of Killarney. He won the 1962 provincial election against Liberal Edward Dow but lost in 1966 by a narrow margin. After leaving politics, he moved to Victoria, British Columbia, where he passed away in 1971.
