Peter Robert Johnson was a British businessman and football investor known for his work with Tranmere Rovers and as chairman of Everton F.C. He played a crucial role in Tranmere's rise from the bottom of the Football League to the Championship during the 1990s. Johnson, who also helped run Park Foods, saw his fortune peak at £150 million before it decreased significantly by 2004. He was based in Birkenhead and was the son of a butcher. Johnson passed away in January 2024.
