Peter Kormos was a Canadian politician and lawyer who served as a Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) in Ontario for the New Democratic Party. He represented the Welland constituency after being elected in a 1988 by-election. Kormos remained in office, winning re-election in every subsequent election until 2011, when he retired from provincial politics. In 2012, he continued his public service by being elected to the Niagara Regional Council in a by-election.
