Peter Lemashon is a former Kenyan middle-distance runner born on July 14, 1956, who specialized in the 800-meter event. He won bronze medals at the 1978 African Games in Algiers and at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton the same year. While competing for the University of Texas at El Paso, he became the NCAA Champion in the 800 meters in 1978 and the NCAA Indoor Champion in the 1000 yards in 1981. His personal best in the 800 meters is 1:45.5 minutes, achieved on June 19, 1977, in Bydgoszcz.
