Peter William McLean, born on February 8, 1954, is a former Australian rugby union international from Brisbane. A notable member of a rugby family, he played as a lock for the Wallabies, earning 16 caps between 1978 and 1982. McLean attended Brisbane State High School and Gatton Agricultural College. He was known by the nickname 'Spider' and played for Easts Rugby Club. His international highlights include victories in the Bledisloe Cup in 1979 and 1980, marking the first back-to-back series wins for the Wallabies.
