Peter Mesiarik is a former Czechoslovak handball goalkeeper who was born on December 8, 1963, in Myjava, Czechoslovakia. He represented Czechoslovakia at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, where the team finished 6th, participating in all six matches. He also played at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, finishing 9th and taking part in six matches. During his club career, he notably played for Lokomotiva Trnava, ČH Bratislava, Topoľčany, and served in Dukla Praha during his military service, winning the European Champion Cups in 1984.
