He gained popularity with his autobiographical videos starting in 2006, where he shared his life experiences, including serving as a radar mechanic in WWII and his love for motorcycles. He was the first on YouTube to reach milestones of 20,000 and 25,000 subscribers and had a second channel for music. Diagnosed with advanced cancer, he posted his final video in February 2014 and passed away on March 23, 2014, at the age of 86.
