Peter K. Oberacker Jr. (born May 13, 1963) is an American businessman and politician serving as a member of the New York State Senate for the 51st district since January 2021. He succeeded James Seward after winning the election in 2020. The 51st district encompasses parts of various counties, including Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Otsego, Schoharie, Sullivan, and Ulster, following redistricting. Before his senatorial role, Oberacker held various local offices and played a crucial role in establishing FormTech Solutions.
