Peter Ove Christensen was a Danish economist who mainly researched and taught in the fields of finance and accounting. He earned a Master's degree in Mathematical Economics from Aarhus University in 1983 and a PhD in economics from the University of Southern Denmark in 1990. From 2005 to 2014, he served as a professor at the Department of Economics at Aarhus University, before becoming a professor at the Department of Finance at Copenhagen Business School from 2015 until his death in 2017.
