Peter Sitt is a former German swimmer born on December 7, 1969, in Porz. He trained with the swimming club Horrem/Sindorf and later represented SSF Bonn, SV Rhenania Köln, and trained under notable coaches Gerhard Hetz and Rainer Henkel. He achieved significant success including a gold medal in the 4x200m freestyle relay and a silver in the 4x100m freestyle relay at the 1991 World Championships in Perth. Sitt also competed in the 1988 Olympics, contributing to a bronze medal performance in the 4x200m freestyle relay. Since 2013, he has been active in the German Sports Aid Foundation.
