Peter John Snow is a British radio and television presenter and historian, born on April 20, 1938. He served as an analyst of general election results from 1969 until 2005, initially for ITV and later for the BBC. Snow was a presenter on Newsnight from its inception in 1980 until 1997. Throughout his career, he has produced and presented a variety of documentaries, some of which he collaborated on with his son, Dan Snow.
