Jan Peter Axel Springare, born May 8, 1956, is a former Swedish police officer and investigative leader at Örebropolisen. He is also a columnist and leisure-time politician. In February 2017, he sparked intense discussion by posting on Facebook about a perceived overrepresentation of foreign-born individuals among perpetrators he encountered in serious crime cases. Since 2018, he has served as a member of the Örebro municipal council, representing the Örebropartiet.
